James Snyder
James Albert Snyder, 80, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away Wednesday February 9, 2022, at his home.
A memorial service will be 10 am February 26, 2022 at the West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie.
James was born October 22, 1941, in Bosworth, MO, the son of Carl and Opal (Leathem) Snyder. He retired from the Kansas Turnpike Authority. He was a member of the West Haven Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. He was united in marriage on November 14, 1987, in Topeka, KS to Julia (Line) Snyder. She survives of the home. He was preceded in death by his Father, Carl Snyder; his mother, Opal Hunt; his brother, Russell R. Snyder; and his sister, Frances M. Snyder.
Survivors include; his wife, Julia Snyder, of the home; two sons, James (Sheila) Snyder, Ozawkie, KS, David (Kim) Snyder, Granby, MO; one daughter, Sara (Aaron) Springer, Warsaw, MO; one stepson, Daniel Griggs, Archie, MO; two stepdaughters, Faith Marie (Tim) Harney, Jenks, OK, Sarah Papa, Tonganoxie; two brothers, Carl Snyder, Hopkinsville, KY, Brian Snyder, Tonganoxie, KS; 20 grandchildren and 38 greatgrandchildren.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial donations to the West Haven Baptist Church.
