William Paul Moore

William Paul Moore, 94, McLouth, KS, passed away November 14, 2023, at the F.W. Houston Senior Living Center, Winchester, KS. Burial will be in McLouth Cemetery, McLouth, KS.

Bill was born January 22, 1929, in Baca County, CO, the son of Lawrence and Christine May (Meyer) Moore. He

served in the U.S. Army Engineers during the Korean War from June 1950 to June 1952. He worked as a plumber in the McLouth and Jefferson County area for many years. He was known by folks all over the area as “Uncle Bill”. He was preceded in death by his brother Elmer Moore, McLouth, three sisters, Mildred Hausner, McLouth, Mamie Moore, McLouth, and Ruth Butler, McLouth. He is survived by nine nieces and nephews.
