Edris Story Welsh

Edris Story Welsh, 85, Tonganoxie, KS, passed away July 8, 2024.

Celebration of life will be 4pm Sunday July 14, 2024, at the Quisenberry Funeral Home, Tonganoxie.

Edris was born November 9, 1938, the daughter of Wayne and Jean (Detra) Story. She was a member of the Grace Baptist Church, Tonganoxie. She was a resident of Tonganoxie since 1971. She retired as office manager for Dr. Hale in Lawrence, KS in 2004. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles H. Welsh; brother Gary Story; and two stepchildren Thomas Welsh, and Susan Oberlin.

She leaves behind a brother, Neal Story, sister, Judy Rynearson, son, Robert VanSchoelandt (Anna) of Lansing, KS, daughter, Lori Hill (Steve) Tonganoxie; son, Brian VanSchoelandt (Alicia) Lansing, KS, son, Charles Welsh (Jackie) Jarbalo, KS, 15 grandchildren, 8 step-grandchildren, and over 50 great-grandchildren.

The inurnment will be in the Leavenworth National Cemetery.
