He beamed at gaining sons as his daughters married, adored having the special bond of being Grandpa/Gramps to each one of his grandkids, and was thrilled to become Super Gramps to his great grandchildren.

George was preceded in death by his parents, his sisters, Dorothy Korb and Ruth Noah, his brother, Lewis Warren, his great grandson, Nathan Goos, and his mother-in-law and father-in-law, Rose and Ernie Theno.

George is survived by his wife, Virginia of the home, his daughters: Deborah (Gene) Becker, Tonganoxie, Sharon (Mark) Coberly, Overland Park, Pam (Greg) Lang, Lawrence, Melinda (Gary) Heise, Leawood, Joyce (Laird) McNeiley, Overland Park, 17 grandchildren and 23 great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, his church family and innumerable dear friends.
