Donna Mae Drinnon

Donna Mae Drinnon, age 67, of Tonganoxie, Kansas passed away at Lawrence Memorial Hospital Tuesday September 10th, 2024, after a brief stay. She was born September 12th, 1956, in Kansas City, MO to Donald and Edna (Swartz) Corey.

She grew up in the Belton area and attended Belton High School. Donna was saved at Victory Baptist Church on February 4th, 2009, and later baptized with her daughter Jeannine. Donna and Jeannine would attend services at numerous places in and around Tonganoxie finding their home with Cornerstone Family Worship.

Ms. Donna was a proud Mother, grandmother and friend to countless people. Donna spent many years working different jobs as a crossing guard, retail but mostly loved her time as a childcare provider and volunteering in any way she could to help others. Donna never met a stranger, her infectious personality and ability to make others smile was an amazing trait. Donna’s love for all of Gods creations, bags, hot wheels cars, prayers, jokes and Diet Coke will forever be remembered.

Survived by her former husband, Stanley Plough and Coy Drinnon; Sons Stanley Plough Jr., Michael Plough, Jennifer Lammo and Jeannine Hartsock, Sister Rhonda & Faron Roscheritz, Aunt Maxine Fryman, grandchildren Erika, Bryanna, Kylie, Vincent, Brantley, Colton, Lauren, Bailey, Brittany, Brandon, Maggie, greatgrandchildren Lauren, Nova, Jace, Aiva, Carter and Elias, best friend Kay Wolf and countless adopted family members.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son Bruce Bradley “BJ” Plough, granddaughter Aaryonna Lammo and Uncle Cotton Fryman.

The family will welcome all who knew Donna Saturday September 21st, 2024, at 11 am at Cornerstone Family Worship with a celebration and luncheon immediately following at the Tonganoxie VFW Post. In leu of flowers (specifically requested by Donna), memorials are suggested to the family to cover final expenses c/o Gretchen Meitler, or to the Ronald McDonald House of Kansas City.
