Timothy Eugene Northern

Timothy Eugene Northern, 64, Valley Falls, KS, passed away on January 2, 2025, due to an automobile accident on December 28, 2024.

Tim graduated from Basehor High School in 1978. Tim and his wife, Tamara, lived in this area of Tonganoxie, KS and also near Ozark, MO. He was an over-­the-­road truck driver. Tim and Tammy’s passion for years was with their TNT Appaloosa Ranch, where they raised many Appaloosa Quarter Horses. Shortly after Tamara’s passing in 2021, he began building his new home in Valley Falls, KS.

He is survived by his mother, Eleanor Northern of Tonganoxie, his sister, Janine Sheaffer of Tonganoxie, and his brother, Joe Northern, and his wife, Katie, of Lawrence, KS. His father, Fred Northern, Jr., passed away in September 1997. In addition to many nieces and nephews.

Tim was loved by many people and will be greatly missed by his friends and family.

In Lieu of flowers, we are asking for contributions for the Grief Recovery at Cornerstone Church which Tim was a part of for the past couple of years.

A Celebration of Life will be held at the Cornerstone Church in Tonganoxie, KS on Saturday, March 15, 2025 at 1:00 pm.
