Gilmore named MVP at WSU invite, breaks Tonganoxie school record in 3,200
Tonganoxie High senior Eli Gilmore was named boys MVP at last week’s Shocker Pre-State Invitational in Wichita.
He also set personal records in the 3,200, 400 and 800.
He won the 400 and 800 and finished second in the 3,200.
Oh, and he broke the school record in the 3,200 along the way.
THS is getting ready for its own Tonganoxie Invitational today at Beatty Field. The meet starts at 3:30 p.m. Other teams coming to the invite are Bishop Ward, Bonner Springs, Christ Preparatory Academy, Heritage Christian Academy, Kansas City Christian, Maranatha Christian Academy, Piper, Pleasant Ridge, Sumner Academy, Turner and Washington.
