McLouth hoops teams suffer losses to Horton squads in opener

McLouth High basketball teams opened the season Friday with losses to Horton at home.
The MHS girls lost their Northeast Kansas League clash with the Chargers, 57-33, while the boys lost to HHS, 64-47.
The teams on the road near Easton for games against Pleasant Ridge on Tuesday after The Mirror’s print deadline. They’re back home Friday against Valley Falls and then this coming Tuesday against Oskaloosa.
