Tonganoxie girls fall to Wamego on Thursday; Bonner, Blue Valley West to meet in tourney finals
The Tonganoxie High girls basketball team was within striking distance heading into halftime Thursday against Wamego in the Tonganoxie Invitational consolation semifinals.
A dismal third quarter, though, kept THS from getting any closer.
WHS led, 23-11, at halftime and then outscored Tonganoxie, 21-2, in the third on its way to a 56-15 victory.
