MHS plays at Baldwin (6-11) on Thursday in the regular-season finale. If McLouth doesn’t get the victory against Baldwin, MHS still will be the top seed in the Class 2-1A Wathena-Riverside Regional. No. 2 Troy is 16-2, so the Trojans still would be a game behind with two more wins and a McLouth loss. MHS also defeated Troy 6-2 and 15-0 on Monday. In total, 14 of McLouth’s 19 victories have been shutouts.

The defeated Jefferson County North, 4-3, on April 10 in their closest contest. The Troy victory in Game 1 and a 4-0 victory against Eudora were the next closest contests.
