McLouth eliminated from playoffs despite winning record and best mark since 2018

McLouth High football just missed out on a playoff berth, but the Bulldogs did finish up with a winning record and their best record since 2018.
Under first-year coach Seth Mills, McLouth jumped out to a 3-0 record and was 5-1 before dropping its final two contests to Oskaloosa and St. Marys.
With a 2-3 district record, McLouth finished fifth out of six teams in its Class 1A district. The top 4 teams from each district advance to the playoffs.
