Tonganoxie High volleyball wins opening matches of the season

Tonganoxie High volleyball is off to a 2-0 start this season.
THS swept Atchison in the season opener Tuesday on the road, 3-0. The Chieftains defeated the Phoenix, 25-12, 25-21, 25-9.
On Thursday, in the home opener, Tonganoxie made quick work of Turner, 25-11, 25-8, 25-9.
Tonganoxie will take its 2-0 record into action next week at De Soto on Sept. 12. The Wildcats are 1-2 with a victory against Louisburg and losses to Eudora and Olathe West.
