Tonganoxie girls soccer drops 1-0 loss at Lansing
The Tonganoxie High girls soccer team held Lansing to just a goal Thursday at LHS, but the Chieftains couldn’t find the net themselves and fell, 1-0.
The loss dropped Tonganoxie to 0-3-1, while Lansing improved to 1-1-1.
Next up for THS is a home match Tuesday against Maranatha Christian Academy (1-1). MCA (1-1) is coming off an 8-4 loss at home to Bishop Seabury on Thursday. The team will have its third home match of the season Friday against Heritage Christian Academy (1-2).
Tongnoxie also is at home a week from Friday when Chanute comes to town April 11. The Blue Comes are 1-2-1 and got their first victory of the season Thursday, a 1-0 decision against Paola.
