The THS boys placed sixth, while the THS girls finished seventh. Manhattan won both team titles convincingly, with the boys 64 points ahead of second-place Maize (165-101) and the MHS girls 77 points ahead of runner-up Salina Central (175-5-98.5).

Tonganoxie team members snagged five gold medals: Todd Brown in the 100 (11.6 seconds), Solomon Carter in the 1,600 (4 minutes, 33.65 seconds), Elijah Hotlhaus in the 300 hurdles (41.68); THS runners in the 4×400 (3:28.70) and Tucker Mcguire in the discus.

Keegan Murry (pole vault) and Adalyn Schooler (discus) were top placers for the THS girls. Both placed second.

THS distance runners will compete April 10-11 at the Wichita State Pre-State Challenge at Cessna Stadium in Wichita. The rest of the team will compete April 11 at the Bobcat Relays in Basehor.
