Reece Schmidt won the 200 on the girls side at the Tonganoxie Invitational with a time of 27.57 seconds, while Tucker McGuire won gold on the boys side in the discus with a throw of 145 feet, 0 inches.

Tonganoxie had several other top finishes, such as Ashlyn Bruce and Reece Schmidt going 2-3 in the 100 and the girls 4×100 meter team taking third (52.09 seconds). Kara Johnson took third in three races: the 100 (13.4), the 800 (2:36.25) and the 1,600 (5:42.99).

At the Kansas Relays, the boys distance medley relay team of Parker Welsh, Kendall Smith, Jett Gilmore and Solomon Carter placed 12th (10:47.93), while Adalyn Schooler placed 20th in the discus for the girls (115-4).
