THS (4-5-1 overall and 2-2-1) blanked Paola (0-8 and 0-5) at Beatty Field after getting shut out two days earlier at Spring Hill (6-4 and 4-0) by a 5-0 score.

The Chieftains were scheduled to face Heritage Christian Academy (7-3) on Tuesday on the road in Olathe after The Mirror’s deadline. THS also is on the road Thursday at Bonner Springs (6-2-2 and 0-1-1) and then back home this coming Tuesday against Turner (2-7) and two days later May 8 against Eudora (7-3-2 and 3-1-1).

Tonganoxie currently is the No. 8 seed in the Class 4-1A East Bracket.
