Chieftain Arena will be the site for a Class 4A super regional Feb. 13 and 14. The super regional is a 32-team tournament and the final step before state.

The regional assignment means the Tonganoxie girls and boys basketball teams will play their Feb. 13 games, originally scheduled as home games against Fort Scott at FSHS. That means the Tigers now will play return games against the Chieftains in Tonganoxie during the 2026-27 season.
