Tonganoxie High alum’s 4×800 team at Dakota State secures qualifying time for nationals

Tonganoxie High graduate Solomon Carter competes recently for Dakota State during the indoor season. Solomon Carter is a member of the Dakota State team. He’s part of the DSU 4×800 relay team that won first place Saturday at the Dakota Wesleyan Snow Tiger Invitational in Mitchell, South Dakota, with a time of 7 minutes, 53.86 seconds.
The finish was an NAIA provisional ‘B’ qualifying time for nationals.
The Trojans won the team title Saturday with 87 points at DWU/Avera Sports and Wellness Center.
There are more meets during the indoor season, with season concluding at the NAIA indoor championships March 5-7 in Gainesville, Florida.
