THS finished the regular season at 8-7-1. The Chieftains are the No. 7 seed in the Class 4A East Bracket and will play No. Maranatha Christian Academy (5-9) at 6 p.m. Monday at Beatty Field.

The winner will face No. 2 Kansas City Christian (13-3) at 5:30 p.m. Thursday in Prairie Village in the regional finals.

Tonganoxie has defeated both teams this season. THS won against MCA, 8-3, on April 8, at Beatty Field and then THS got the victory last week against KC Christian.
