Tonganoxie teams earn several all-league spots

Tonganoxie landed several players on this year’s all-Frontier League for football.

Tonganoxie senior Jacob Morenz was a first-team pick as wide receiver on offense, as was senior offensive lineman John Golba.

THS also had first-team spots on defense. Senior Brady Martin earned the honors as a defensive back.

On second team, junior Blake Riedel (running back) and Martin (tight end) earned spots on offense, while Golba (defensive line) also made it on defense. Sophomore Cody Lobb was a second-team selection as kicker.

Tonganoxie also had six honorable mention selections this season. On offense, sophomore Bodee Maslak (quarterback), sophomore Kipton Harder (wide receiver) and senior Gavin Rhoads (offensive line).On defense, THS had sophomore Paxton Summers (linebacker), senior Hunter Nihart (defensive back) and freshman Roman Holthaus (multiple position defense).

THS went 5-5 in 2025 and reached the regional round of the Class 4A playoffs.

THS boys soccer has four all-Frontier League selections

Tonganoxie boys soccer first-team, second-team and honorable mention selections this season.

Lachlan McRae and Jameson Breitzman were first-team selections for field players, while Ivan Franco was second team among goalkeepers. Honorable mention field player was Cody Lobb,

THS went 9-7-1 and reached the Class 4-1A regional finals.

Volleyball all-league honors announced

Tonganoxie volleyball had four all-Frontier League selections this season: senior Finley Rieke was first team, junior Addy Schooler second team and seniors Katelyn Dale (libero) and Kalea Baldock (setter) honorable mention.
