THS shut out Hayden, 1-0, Tuesday in Topeka in a match originally slated for a week earlier on Sept. 23. Tonganoxie earned its second road victory of the season and improved to 3-3-2 on the season, while Hayden remained winless at 0-10.

Tonganoxie takes on Bonner Springs (5-2-2) on Thursday at BSHS and then this coming Tuesday (Oct. 7) at Bishop Miege (9-1) in Roeland Park. THS is back home Oct. 9 against Lousburg (5-2-1) on Oct. 14 against Basehor-Linwood (2-6-1).

The Chieftains currently are the No. 9 seed in the Class 4-1A East Regional.
