THS competed in all four races: girls junior varsity and varsity and boys JV and varsity.

Elizabeth Howlett led all THS runners in the girls varsity race. She finished the course in 22 minutes, 45.37 seconds, with Brooke Nihart coming in right behind in ninth at 23:00.69. Elijah Weatherford led all THS runners in the boys varsity race with a time of 18:47.61. Competing in the junior varsity race for the boys were Keigan Culbertson (26th, 26:39.17) and Caleb Harrelson (27th, 26:51.83).

In the girls junior varsity race, Katie Wilson led THS runners with a fifth-place finish and time of 25:29.77.

Tonganoxie is back in action this Saturday at the Rim Rock Invitational between Lawrence and McLouth. Races start at 8 a.m.
