Tonganoxie track members win gold medals at Cardinal Relays, off to De Soto on Friday

Tonganoxie brought home gold medals on the boys and girls side Friday at the Cardinal Relays in Eudora.

Roman Holthaus captured the title in the 300 hurdles with a time of 42.03 seconds for the boys team, while Adalyn Schooler won another discus title with a throw of 138 feet, 5 inches for the girls team.

Holthaus also won individual medals in the 110 hurdles (second, 15.54) and high jump (third, 6 feet, 2 inches).

Schooler also placed fourth in the high jump with a height of 4-10.

Jack Reischman earned a bronze medal in the 800 with a time of 2:05.70 for the THS boys.

The THS girls team also nabbed three silver medals at Eudora.

Ashlyn Brune finished second in the triple jump (32-5), Keagan Murray second in the pole vault (10-1) and Sophia Heithaus in the shot put (34-5).

Tonganoxie is at the De Soto Invitational on Friday and then the Wellsville Invitational a week later May 8. The Frontier League meet is May 14 in Paola and regionals will be May 22 in Eudora.
