Tonganoxie dominates Paola in 48-14 league victory

Tonganoxie High’s offense clicked often Friday in a 48-14 victory against Paola at Beatty Field.
THS scored three times in the first quarter and three more in the second and took a commanding 42-7 lead into halftime.
The Chieftains made it 48-7 in the third quarter before the Panthers got their second score. There was a running clock in the fourth quarter.
THS moved to 3-1 overall and 2-1 in Frontier League play.
Tonganoxie will face Rock Creek on the road next Friday near St. George. The Mustangs moved to 2-2 on the season following a 45-7 victory Friday at home against Abilene.
