National Day of Prayer is this week
This year’s National Day of Prayer is Thursday
This annual observance encourages people of all faiths to humbly pray for our nation, seeking God’s guidance for our leaders and His grace upon us as a people.
MHS Alumni Banquet is May 11
All past graduates of McLouth High School are welcome to the 2024 Alumni Banquet on May 11.
Doors will open at 5:30 p.m. with a social hour and class composite viewing in the Multipurpose Room (old cafeteria) followed by the banquet at 6:30 p.m. in the cafeteria.
Admission is $5 per person (cash or check only). Please bring a covered dish. There will be a ‘Pass the Hat’ collection and drawing to award a scholarship to an attending member of the Class of 2024.
We will have raffle baskets and items available again this year.
All classes are welcome. Honored classes will be this year’s graduates in the Class of 2024, Class of 2014 (10-year), Class of 1999 (25-year), 1984 (40-year) 1974 (50-year) and 1964 (60-year).
Registration opens for Vacation Bible School
It’s time to register your youths for Vacation Bible School at First Baptist Church of McLouth.
This year’s VBS will be 9 a.m.-noon June 3-7 for all children 3 years of age to those going into sixth grade in the fall.
You may now register your children for “SCUBA Diving into Friendship with God” online at vbspro.events/p/events/scubavbs2024fbcmclouth/sessions/83466/participants/new.
Printed registration forms are also available on the ministries table in the church, 501 S. Union St.
