It’s time for this year’s Spooktacular, a longtime Tonganoxie Business Association event that attracts large crowds to downtown Tonganoxie for trick-or- treating.

The street will be blocked off so that families can go from business to busi- ness for trick-or-treating fun.

Tonganoxie Public Library also will be participating in the event.

New this year is a business decorat- ing contest. Residents can go to the TBA Facebook page and vote for their favorite decorated business by “liking” the business photo or photos on TBA’s post. The business with the most “likes” by Spooktacular will receive a discount on their 2025 Tonganoxie Business Association membership.

This year’s Spooktacular will run from 5-8 p.m.
