THS director of bands Charles Van Middlesworth said Tuesday morning that this year’s halftime show will be numbers from “The Greatest Showman.” The director, also known as “Mr. Van,” said practice has been going well as the band prepares for its halftime show debut Friday when THS football takes on Spring Hill. Mr. Van said “It’s a great show. The kids are liking it and we expect a really good season.” The band also will be performing at marching shows in Eudora and Bonner Springs this fall, among other events.
