A new mural greets visitors who enter the Tonganoxie Recreation Commission Activity Center gymnasium through its main downstairs entrance. TRC expanded its hours of operations a couple weeks ago and staff look to continue to add more offerings.Tonganoxie Recreation Commission will have a Glow Gallery from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Friday at the rec center, 300 E. U.S. Highway 24-40.
The event will have UV reactive coloring, UV reactive temporary tattoos and UV reactive DIY valentines.
Membership and day fees apply.
TRC also will have a mailbox in the room for those who would like to give their valentines to residents at Tonganoxie Terrace.
