Tractors are on display near the USD 464 Administrative Center along U.S. Highway 24-40. The tractors signal that FFA Week has arrived, as students drove tractors to school Tuesday as part of the celebration.

Tonganoxie FFA celebrated National FFA Week with its annual open house and auction on Tuesday, but festivities continue through Friday with spirit week themes.

Today is Dress Like Your Favorite Adviser Day at Tonganoxie High School, while Thursday is Wear Camp Day. On Friday, FFA members will be wearing chapter apparel in celebration of the final day of FFA Week.

Monday was Farmers Day Off. Students were encouraged to wear pajamas and doughnuts were served before school to chapter members.

FFA Week kicked off Saturday with the community breakfast at the Tonganoxie High School cafeteria, as shown by the inset photo.

At the middle school, there was a slightly different theme schedule.

Monday was Denim Day, while Tuesday was Country vs. Country Club Day (students dressed in either fashion). Today is Dress Like a Farmer, Thursday is Farmer’s Day Off and Friday is FFA Friday.

Tuesday’s open house and auction included a taco bar meal at the THS cafeteria as part of the fundraiser.
