The event originally was slated for this past Saturday, but inclement weather did not want to pay heed to the Tonganoxie Split and the event was rescheduled for this weekend.

Saturday’s edition will have a slight time adjustment from the original plan. The event will be 6-8 p.m. at the Tonganoxie Recreation Commission ball fields at the Leavenworth County Fairgrounds.

Brothers Market will provide free banana splits. There will be glow toys and accessories and inflatables courtesy of Fun Services. The Ultimate Rock, Paper, Scissors Competition with a prize sponsored by the Tonganoxie Community Historical Society will take place as part of the festivities. 1866 Bar & Grill’s Generation X Food Truck will be open for business, all topped off with a fireworks display by Wald Fireworks!
