The shelves at Dollar General on Northstar Court in Tonganoxie continue to become more and more empty as the week progresses.

The store is expected to close Friday as employees prepare the new Dollar General Market down the road to the west near U.S. Highway 24-40 and Smiley Road to open its doors.
