It was a triangular sweep for Tonganoxie High volleyball on Monday.

Tonganoxie picked up road victories against Jeff West (25-23, 25-17) and Basehor-Linwood (25-21, 25-17). Jeff West is now 5-18 on the season, while BLHS is 12-22.

Those games came after last week’s loss to Ottawa in a Frontier League road match. Ottawa (13-19) won 25-11, 25-15, 21-25, 25-21.

Tonganoxie moved to 16-14 on the year after Monday’s victories, but had a big match Tuesday after The Mirror’s print deadline. THS hosted Baldwin (28-3), currently the No. 1 seed in the Class 4A East Bracket. THS was the No. 8 seed heading into play Tuesday. Next up: Thursday on the road against Leavenworth (4-23) and Atchison (7-18).

THS is on the road Monday against Bishop Ward (7-16) and Maur Hill (17-14) and then home for Senior Night Tuesday vs. Eudora (19-13).
