Monday’s open house celebration for the new athletics wing at Tonganoxie High School will also be a chance to celebrate the new choir room at THS.

The final phase of campus renovations will be on display with the opening night of the Tonganoxie Invitational Basketball Tournaments. Included in those renovations was a new choir room for the THS vocal music department.

Director Tom Gifford has invited alumni to perform alongside current THS vocalists for the National Anthem. The choir will perform before a THS game Monday, while the THS pep band will play the National Anthem before the other. Both THS teams will be playing Holton in the first round of the tourney.
