A fundraiser that helps Tonganoxie VFW Post 9271 and Tonganoxie FFA will be zooming around Leavenworth County this weekend.

The second annual Tonganoxie FFA Alumni Dice Run will be Saturday and will start and end at Deer Ridge Estate.

Registration will be 8-10 a.m., with rides to begin at 10:15 a.m.

Cost is $25 per buggy with driver and includes two door prize tickets, while each rider 8 an older is $10 and also includes two door prize tickets. T-shirts are $20. The starting and ending points are Deer Ridge Estate, 21107 Donahoo Road.

The Tonganoxie VFW Women’s Auxiliary will have a biscuits and gravy breakfast in the morning for free will donations.

A free hamburger and hot dog dinner and extras after the run will be provided by Tonganoxie FFA Alumni Association and First State Bank and Trust.

ATVs, UTVs, Jeeps and dirt bikes are welcome for the ride. The dice run will be on trails, gravel and asphalt for roughly 75 miles around Leavenworth County. Proceeds will benefit the Tonganoxie VFW and Tonganoxie FFA Alumni Scholarship Fund.
