It’s time to think spring, think safety

Finally, spring has sprung. We had to weather a pretty bad storm Thursday night and into Friday morning, but it appears as though the more favorable temperatures are becoming more of a mainstay.
Sure, it’s Kansas, so we’ll have many more tornadoes and other severe weather to deal with, but one can definitely tell that spring is back and is in the air.
With the warmer weather, though, comes the likelihood that people will be taking to the outdoors more regularly to enjoy that fresh air. So when you’re out about in your vehicle, windows down, sunroof open and your radio playing, remember to keep an even keener eye out for pedestrians, cyclists, runners and the like. We all want to enjoy the new season.
