Debra Breuer has been promoted to vice president and branch manager of the bank’s new Basehor branch, which is scheduled to open next month.

“We’re planning on going to Basehor the middle of April,” said Breuer, who has been with Community National Bank for five years.

The new branch initially will be housed in a mobile unit just south of the shopping center at 155th Street and U.S. Highway 24-40.

Breuer and her husband own that shopping center and property for the bank was purchased from the Breuers.

The mobile unit, which will be equipped with an automatic teller machine and drive-up window, will be replaced later this year with a permanent building.

Breuer, who has 25 years of banking experience, said population growth in the Basehor area was the driving force behind the expansion for Community National Bank, which is based in Seneca.
