Senior citizens who can sing, dance, play an instrument, etc. can be in the council’s first Leavenworth Senior Idol contest.

A news release from the council said plans are under way now for the April competition.

Seniors who have always wanted a chance to share their talents with others are encouraged to sign up now.

Anyone over age 55 will be considered. Prizes will be awarded to the winners.
