The Warriors (2-0-1) were led by Dalton Tavis, who reached the end zone three times in the victory, scoring twice on runs and once on a kickoff return.

Jared Somers and Carl Hecht each had one touchdown run for TMS.

Tonganoxie’s seventh-graders also won against BLMS, rolling to a 32-6 road victory.

Austin Ettinger scored four of the Warriors’ five touchdowns in the rout. The other TD for Tonganoxie (2-1) came on a run by Grant Elston. Lucas Skaggs had a two-point conversion.

Both Tonganoxie squads play at Clark, in Bonner Springs, on Tuesday. The seventh grade plays at 3:15 p.m. and the eighth grade follows at 5:15.
