THS graduate earns K-State study abroad scholarships
A Kansas State University student from Tonganoxie has received two scholarships to study abroad during the spring 2012 semester.
Melissa Hughes of Tonganoxie has been given a $500 Global Education Initiative Scholarship to study in the United Kingdom and a $454.54 Joseph and Elizabeth Barton-Dobenin International Scholarship to study in the Czech Republic.
Hughes is one of 82 K-State students selected by the university’s office of international programs to receive study-abroad scholarships for the spring.
She is a 2009 Tonganoxie High School graduate.
