Kirk, Austin, Wayne and Anabel Knapp traveled to attend the high school graduation and party for Brittney Cole Huntington on Saturday, May 19. It was held at West Elk High School in Howard. Brittney was one of three valedictorians. The high school class of 2012 has received scholarships at an approximate value of $89,000.

Kirk and Austin stayed with Debbie and Terry Tindle. Wayne and Anabel stayed with Judy Knapp and attended church with them on Sunday at Severy United Methodist Church. They arrived home on Sunday evening.

Samantha Heston graduated from McLough High School on Saturday, May 19. She plans to go to Highland Community College and major in early education.

Sharon Lynn and Evelyn Schwinn visited their brother, Harold Steed, Thursday, May 17, at the Golden Living Center in Edwardsville.

Ed and Peggy Gillaspie and Evelyn Schwinn attended the wedding of Luke Hanaroth on Saturday, May 19.

The graduates were honored at Springdale Friends Church Sunday, May 20. The high school graduate was Kyle Schwinn. Eighth-grade graduate was Luke Cole and kindergarten graduates was Mason Ewert and Zoe Clark.

Bill and Brenda Schwinn entertained with a graduation party for their son, Kyle, Saturday, May 19, at the High Prairie Church. He graduated Sunday, May 20, from Pleasant Ridge High School.

Tom and Susie Schwinn entertained with a graduation party at their home for their son, Jake, after his graduation from Pleasant Ridge on Sunday, May 20.

Little Aubrey Gillaspie spent Friday, May 19, and Monday, May 22, with her great grandma, Evelyn Schwinn. She was a joy.
