Seven Warriors medal at Clark Invitational
The Tonganoxie Middle School cross country team continued its 2012 season Saturday at the Clark Middle School Invitational. Seven Warriors earned medals at the meet, which took place at Wyandotte County Park.
The top 15 finishers in each division received a medal. Seventh-grade medalists on the boys side were Zeb Huseman (fourth, 6:10.86), Chandler Hamman (sixth, 6:13.42) and Bowen Jones (12th, 6:26.66). TMS didn’t have any medalists in the seventh grade girls race.
Eighth grade girls medalists were Isabella Behn (seventh, 13:44.76), Emily Chambers (eighth, 13:47.7) and Anahi Puebla (12th, 14:23.66). Drew Cook was the Warriors’ only eighth grade boy medalists, finishing third with a time of 11:32.48.
TMS will continue its season at 3 p.m. Tuesday at its home invitational.
