There will be a chili and soup supper from 5 to 7 p.m. Friday, Oct. 12, at Jarbalo United Methodist Church. This is a fundraiser and the charge is by donation. There will be homemade pie. Everyone is welcome.

Jarbalo High School alumni will be at 4 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 13, at Jarbalo United Methodist Church for their annual dinner and meeting.

Jarbalo United Methodist Women are taking orders for unbaked, frozen pumpkin pies for Thanksgiving. Orders can be placed by calling Marilyn at 913-369-3289 or Christine at 913-727-6643 before Oct. 25.

The church people which to thank everyone who donated to the rummage and bake sale. It was a real success.

Evelyn Hicklin and Elaine Ruth visited Thamar Barnett on Thursday. They are from Hamilton, Mo. Evelyn is Thamar’s sister. Evelyn and Elaine stopped to see Beth Smith in Lansing. Beth is a sister of Evelyn and Thamar.
