The youth of Springdale Friends Church presented special music for the Easter service, under the direction of Dana Laird and Dyla Lawrence. Rev. Rob Santel and Rebecca left after the service to spend time with Rebecca’s parents in Topeka.

The Ray Cole family enjoyed Easter dinner with Ray’s parents, Bil and Carol Cole.

Ed and Peggy had an Easter dinner for the Greg Gillaspie and Jeff Gilllaspie families, as well as Evelyn Schwinn.

David and Jennifer Roggenkamp and little boys of Saint Marys were visiting the Johnny Schwinn family during the Easter weekend.

Brian Schwinn was visiting his mother Evelyn Schwinn on Easter evening. His family had dinner with Carol Daniels and other family members.

Ralph and Linda Haley and Danny were Easter Sunday visitors at Tom Haley’s home in Kansas City.

Sam and Becky Murphy had a baby girl born April 3 at Overland Park. Her name is Anna Ruth and she weighed 8 pounds, 10 ounces. Grandparent is Jeannie Murphy and great-grandparents are Herbert and Jeannie Schwinn.

Gloria Smalstieg and girls traveled to Colorado Springs to see an aunt of Gloria’s who is 93. They returned home the last of March.
