On July 25, Evelyn Schwinn and Sharon Lynn went to Golden Living in Edwardsville to visit their brother, Harold Steed.
Rev. Rob Santel and Rebecca have returned from a trip to Sweden, where they visited relatives. Glen Weld has filled the pulpit at Springdale Friends Church in Rev. Santel’s absence.
Kyle Schwinn turned 19 on July 26 and Amy Jo Moore turned 27 on July 27. They are second cousins.
We here at Springdale sure enjoyed the rain we have received. If the corn and beans had a voice, they would say a big thanks.
Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed lunch on July 28 with Ed, Peggy and Drew Gillaspie. Later, Peggy and Evelyn visited an alpaca farm. Those animals have the cutest faces.
A group of people from the Alexandria and Springdale communities attended the Leavenworth County Fair last week. Several had projects and won ribbons. The parade was enjoyable. We had wonderful weather.
Linda Haley of Springdale has returned to her home. She is doing well after her accident. Anabel Knapp stopped in to see Linda on July 31.
Kirk Knapp was at his parents’ house for dinner on July 31. He helped Wayne mow the yard.
