McLouth Happenings
Christmas can be a lonely time for some of us. Our Blue Christmas service will be at 7 p.m. Thursday at McLouth United Methodist Church. This is a solemn and meditative service for all of us who don’t always feel the Christmas joy because of loss or trial and tribulation. Please accept this invitation as a time to move from feeling “blue” to experiencing the wonder and hope of Christmas.
The First Baptist Church choir will tell the Christmas story through the music of “Tell Me the Story of Jesus” during the 10:45 a.m. worship service Sunday. Everyone is welcome.
Christmas Eve church service hours vary, offering everyone the opportunity to worship within the McLouth community:
• McLouth Church of the Nazarene candlelight communion Christmas Eve service begins at 5 p.m.
• McLouth United Methodist Church welcomes everyone to candlelight Christmas Eve services at 6:30 p.m. and 10 p.m. Join us for a time of song and fellowship as we prepare our hearts for Christmas.
• First Baptist Church of McLouth invites you to join us for a casual candlelight communion worship service to celebrate the birth of our Lord and Savior at 8 p.m.
