Myron and Jody Schwinn of St. George came to town on June 1 for the alumni reunion for Easton Rural High School.

There were 104 past graduates at the Easton Rural High School reunion, which took place Saturday at St. Lawrence Hall in Easton.

Evelyn Schwinn met with her class at the Pullman Place Family Restaurant June 1 in Leavenworth. They were the class of 1948, celebrating 65 years out of high school.

Brian and Linda K. Schwinn flew to Langley, Va., to visit their son, Airman First Class Justin B. Schwinn. Justin showed them all around Virginia. On June 1, he flew home with them for a two-week visit.

Gertrude Chrisman of spent the week of Memorial Day with her two daughters of Shawnee Mission. Her granddaughters are Whitney, Joyce Webb and Valerty.

Ralph and Linda Haley traveled to Colorado for Memorial Day to see Linda’s brother and sister. They left the first week of June and returned Sunday.

Wayne and Anabel Knapp attended McLouth Methodist Church on Sunday, June 2, for a special concert performance by Folk Mountain Gospel. It was a great way to spend the evening. Don and Donna Mohl were the singers and used difficult instruments. The performance was 45 minutes long.

We’re having wet and cooler weather. It’s more like fall.
