Jarbalo United Methodist Women met Nov. 15 at TenPenny Restaurant in Leavenworth. Family members and friends also attended. Those there were Ron and Peachez Joles and their granddaughter; Ryan Workman; George and Elaine Onasch; Brian Onasch; Pastor Larry Grove; Linda Prather; Carole Zart; Rosie Oelschlaeger; Helen McBroom; Faye Cleavinger; Marilyn Oxley; Frances Jeannin; Christine Black; Marge Zachariah; and Thamar Barnett.
Tammy Mooberry of Iola visited Thamar Barnett from Nov. 15 to 17. Those visiting Nov. 16 were David and Jane Turner, Kipp Barnett and Eric Barnett. Tammy brought her granddaughter, Madison Smith of Iola, to spend time with her great-grandmother, Freda Smith of Basehor.
Wanda (Somers) Chauvin has moved back to the area from Florida. She is now at Presbyterian Manor in Lawrence.
David and Jane Turner attended the meeting of the Santa Fe Trail Leather Artists Guild on Nov. 16 in Centropolis.
Hanging of the greens will be 7 p.m. Friday instead of Saturday at Jarbalo United Methodist Church.
