This video of Brady Sullivan, a McLouth High School senior, could land him a full scholarship at Tulsa Welding School. The video with the most votes by April 29 wins the scholarship contest, which Mike Rowe, host of television's "Dirty Jobs," is sponsoring.

A McLouth High School senior is vying for a full-ride scholarship to an Oklahoma school.

But he needs online votes to make it a reality.

Brady Sullivan plans to attend Tulsa Welding School in June, but could receive a full ride if he wins the Mike Rowe Works Scholarship Video Contest.

Sullivan submitted an essay for the contest, which advanced him to the final round, the video submission.

Sullivan created a video that is on the Tulsa Welding School video page. The student whose video has the most votes wins the scholarship.

In his essay, Sullivan talked about attending McLouth schools since he was in kindergarten and taking a welding class this year at MHS in the first year being offered. He has enjoyed the class so much that he wants to make it a career, Sullivan wrote in the essay.

Mike Rowe, host of the television show “Dirty Jobs,” is funding the scholarship.

Facebook users can vote once every 24 hours on Sullivan’s video page.

As of early Friday afternoon, Sullivan’s video had 3,249 votes. Voting ends April 29.
