Tonganoxie fundraiser for TMS student battling brain cancer is tonight

A glow run/walk will highlight a night of activities Friday for Light Up the Night for Franklin’s Fight at Tonganoxie High School.

The event will benefit Franklin Eason, a Tonganoxie fifth-grader battling brain cancer.

Activities will begin at 6 p.m. with food, games, a cake raffle, silent auction and more.

The glow run will start at 8:30 p.m.

Participants are asked to bring glow sticks, necklaces or bracelets.

Entry fee is $10.

Registration forms for the run/walk can be dropped off at the Insurance Center, 219 E. U.S. Highway 24-40 or Tonganoxie Middle School.

Checks can be made payable to the Eason family.
