Evelyn Schwinn enjoyed lunch Aug. 3 at Famous Dave’s with Peggy and Ed Gillaspie and Drew.

Danny and Linda Schwinn, Rick and Jackie Schwinn and baby and Dave and Julie Zule and family left Aug. 3 after church for Nebraska for the surprise celebration for Bob and Robin Shermbeck’s 40th anniversary. They were really surprised.

Airman Justin B. Schwinn arrived from Langley Air Force Base on July 31 for a visit with his parents, Brian and Linda K. Schwinn, and other family members. He celebrated his 21st birthday on Aug. 2.

Marilyn Kay Parsons was honored at the Leavenworth County Fair with a ribbon cutting for her donation to remodel the restrooms in the Administration Building. She lived in the Springdale area as a girl. We are proud of her.

Several Springdale neighbors attended a Kansas Farm Bureau event.
